Dry Ice FAQs

Do you sell dry ice?
Yes we do. We sell it in 5 and 10 pound blocks. The 10 pound block that it comes in from the supplier is roughly 10”x10”x2” and is in a perforated plastic bag.
Can I preorder dry ice?
Unfortunately no, we sell it on a first come first serve basis.
How long will it last?
Well that depends how you store it. We recommend wrapping it in newspaper and storing it in a small insulated cooler. Purchase it the latest you possibly can and pack your container and seal it up. Don’t open it if you don‘t need to. The more it is exposed to air the faster it will shrink and turn from a solid state to a gas. This is called sublimation.
Can I store it in my freezer?
Dry ice is roughly -109’ Fahrenheit. That is considerably colder than your freezer thermostats and can shatter them if they get too cold. We recommend an insulated cooler.
